About Us
Our client is a multinational organization and specializes in installation and commissioning of manufacturing equipment in Food manufacturing companies in Australia. Due to a significant growth, they are currently recruiting a Warehouse Manager for their office in Westmeadows. You will be managing a team of 3-4. A significant part of your role will involve continuous improvement within the warehouse operations, reporting via pronto, and liaising with stakeholders globally.

About the Role
Reporting to the Operations Manager you will be responsible for

  • Ensure accurate and timely ordering, receipting and maintaining of inventory in the warehouse.
  • Contribute to the maintenance and housekeeping of the warehouse.
  • Ensure accurate and timely picking and packing of freight.
  • Ensure safe receiving and unloading of deliveries into the warehouse.
  • Safe operation of forklift.
  • Ensure quotes are prepared and delivered to customers in a timely fashion.
  • Liaise with parts suppliers to ensure that all parts are received/shipped on time.
  • Assist with annual inventory and ensuring processes are in line with company procedures.
  • Ensure timely and accurate material replenishment.
  • Prepare weekly and monthly financial reports in coordination with multiple stakeholders.
  • Liaise with local and overseas suppliers for inventory.
  • Management and training of warehouse staff.
  • Other tasks as required to ensure the smooth operation of the warehouse.
  • Contribute to a safe and healthy work environment both in the warehouse and on customer sites.

Skills Required
The successful candidate will have

  • 5 years previous experience in a similar role
  • Current forklift and drivers’ license
  • Experience with ERP, preferably Pronto
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent customer service and problem-solving skills
  • Proficient PC skills especially MS Office
  • Trustworthy and reliable
  • Strong people skills
