I didn't plan to get into recruitment. Like most things in life, it happened by chance — and 15 years later, here I am.

I am not an expert. I don't have a magic formula that will guarantee you an interview or tell you exactly what to say to land your first job. And honestly, if anyone claims they do — please let me know, because I'd genuinely like to talk to them. Maybe I'm missing something after 15 years in this industry.

What I actually am is someone who struggled to find his own first job. I didn't get into recruitment by choice — I got into it out of necessity. But I made it my career, learned it the hard way, and over 15 years built up enough real experience to know what the definite don'ts are and what the definite do's are.

Like many, I don't have a niche. For most of my career I worked across industries as a generalist — speaking to thousands of candidates from different backgrounds and walks of life. That breadth of experience is what I carry with me today.

I've seen hundreds of people — professionals, graduates, migrants, career changers — go through the job search process. I know what the ones who succeeded did differently. Not from a textbook. From watching it happen, being part of it, and sometimes being the one who made the call.

I use words like "career coach" on this website because that's the only way Google will put me in front of you. But what I really offer is honest, experience-based guidance from someone who has been on both sides of the hiring table.
